Christopher Vickers is a specialist craftsman-designer of Arts & Crafts furniture, metalwork and lighting.
With over 30 years experience, he takes his inspiration from architect-designers such as
Ernest Gimson, Sidney Barnsley and CFA Voysey.
He also makes pieces to their original archived drawings.
With careful research and great attention to detail he works by hand in the best Arts & Crafts traditions.
His furniture is made from homegrown timbers such as English oak, bog oak and walnut, and often
features hand-cut dovetail joints, fine inlays and chip carving.
Metalwork and lighting is made from brass and copper, forged and rivetted,
with chased and repousse decoration.
In 1987 he established his workshop and showroom in Frome Somerset.

As well as making to commission, a good selection of items are kept in stock.
