An oak framed antique panel of William Morris 'Bird', in the rare red colourway.

Jacquard-woven wool double cloth, designed in 1878.

This fabric design can be seen in Kelmscott Manor and as a wall hanging at Standen.

Morris actually designed it for the drawing room at Kelmscott House, Hammersmith.

Frame size 30.5" high x 24" wide, fabric size 22" x 16"

This panel displays really well, colours and condition are excellent.
