Circa 1880 Morris & Co Embroidery Panel.

Really beautiful antique circa 1880 Morris & Co English Arts & Crafts framed embroidery panel.

Finely hand worked in coloured silks and wool threads with a pair of bullfinches meeting in flight,

and framed against the heart shade tendrils of flowering honeysuckle on a silky linen silver coloured ground,

with a gold cog tooth border and framed in a reeded oak frame with gilt mount.

Frame size: height 18.5" x width 12.25"
