James Powell & Sons - Exceptionally Rare Pair of Lamps

 

An extremely rare Pair of James Powell & Sons wrought iron adjustable lamps,

fitted with hand hammered copper shades.

Useful and beautifully elegant early electric lamps designed by Harry Powell c1910.

From 1875 James Powell had a blacksmith called Edminstone with a boy called Edmund Francis

who were employed to make wrought iron lighting fixtures to Harry Powel’s designs.

Refurbished, rewired & fitted with good quality inline switches, these lamps could also be wall mounted.
Height is 15.5”
